IHS Global Energy Information Review

The following spatial layers are commercially available using your subscription IHS data. Base Spatial Layers »» Production - A point layer with U.S. production entities. Entities distinguish between well and lease production. Attributes include cumulative oil, gas & water production volumes with production periods, producing formations and perforation depths. »»Well Surface - A point layer of U.S. oil and gas well surface locations. Attributes include well name & number, operator, location, dates, depths & depth reference, well class & status, bottom-hole and objective formations »»Well Borestick - A 2D line layer showing the well bore path projected to the surface. The feature will be a true path for wells with directional survey information and a straight line connecting surface and bottom hole location for wells without directional surveys. Attributes include well name & number, operator, location, dates, depths & depth reference, well class & status, bottom-hole and objective formations »»Well Bottom - A point layer of U.S. oil and gas well bottom-hole locations. Attributes include well name & number, operator, location, dates, depths & depth reference, well class & status, bottom-hole and objective formations »»Well Activity - A point layer with U.S. well permit locations. Attributes include well name & number, operator, drilling contractor, location, permit number, dates, depths & depth reference, well class & status and objective formations 144 US Enhanced Spatial Layers »»Well Pressures – A point layer with U.S. well surface locations. Attribute data includes detailed pressure information to supplement the Well Tests layers. »»Well Tests – A point layer with U.S. well surface locations and well test data. Attributes include well name & number, operator, test type & number, net & gross interval tested, formation name and fluid recovery volumes. »»Well Tests Significant Recovery – A point layer with U.S. well surface locations and well test data for wells that tested significant volumes (at least 10 barrels of oil equivalent recovered on a production or IP test or oil and gas to the surface on drill stem or wireline tests). Attributes include well name & number, operator, test type & number, net & gross interval tested, formation name and fluid recovery volumes. »»Well Tops – A point layer with U.S. well surface locations and formation top data. Attribute data includes basic well header information, formation name & age and depths. »»Well Tops Geo Age – A point layer with U.S. well surface locations and formation top data. The formations in each geologic age are grouped. Attribute data includes basic well header information, formation name & age and depths »»Well Shows – A point layer with U.S. well surface locations and detailed well information containing an occurrence of hydrocarbon shows. Content is determined from the integration of all well test, well core and driller shows information. The features are ‘stacked’; that is, each well point will be repeated for the number of shows found in that well. Attribute data includes basic well header information, test types, recovery types & volumes and depths SPATIAL U.S. CONTINUED
