Report Builder

Report Builder is a custom tool available on My Connect. The Build Report link is displayed in folders. As you add content to a project folder, you may want to generate a PDF that contains all of the HTML content in one PDF. You can save the PDF to a folder of your choosing or export as a PDF.

Download any Country Risk report into Word. Some other reports may only have a PDF download option.

Note: The PDF and Excel spreadsheet attachment available in the article view of research are not included in Report Builder. It is best to save print or save attachments while in the article view.

To create a custom report

  1. Select the folder on My Connect that contains the items for the custom report you want to build.
  2. Click the Build Report link. The Save to My Connect dialog is displayed.

  3. Enter a Name for the report.
  4. Select an existing folder or create a new folder from the Folder drop-down list.
  5. Click Create.
  6. View the Content Unavailable for Report Builder, and then click OK. The Report Builder properties and content list page is displayed.


  7. You can fill in a Subtitle and Introduction.
  8. Select your preference for the list order of content: By Type, By Country, or Custom. (Custom is the default.)
  9. Reorder the content by vertically dragging and dropping the research articles.
  10. Select Add your section to enter comments, and then click Apply.
  11. Select Export to PDF or Save. You can export some content to Word that is country risk related. Energy content cannot be exported to Word. You also have the option to Cancel.
    Because we saved the report in the Read Later folder, it is now listed in the folder with the report type icon.
