PIPELINES 98 »»WORLD – more than 370,000 km of pipelines have been updated in 2013; North America oil and gas pipelines are now accessible in EDIN in the layer “Pipelines North America”. »» FRANCE – Complete review of southern France pipeline network was conducted. »» TURKEY – More than 8,000 Km of pipelines was added to improve our coverage. »» CHINA – Over 38,000 Km of pipelines were updated to reflect the rapid development of the pipeline network in China. Facility Coordinates Qualifier »»WORLD - In 2013 we added the coordinate qualifier for more than 3,000 facilities. Reliable coordinates with datum are now available for over 43,000 plants. Electric Plants »»WORLD - More than 4,400 Electric Plants and 8,000 individual units were added, representing an additional capacity of 676 GW. Countries where major updates were implemented included China, India, Germany and Brazil. »» EUROPE – Additions include more than 2,800 Electric Plants in Europe (4,600 Individual Units), representing a total of 221 GW of additional generation capacity.
