SPATIAL CANADA CONTINUED VALTUS ORTHO IMAGERY IHS provides high resolution ortho-rectified photographs to allow users to see pipeline right of ways, roads, muskeg, lakes, streams, etc., with the Valtus Ortho Imagery dataset. Ortho Images give a true representation of the earth’s surface at a resolution of 0.4 meters – 1.0 meter. The content extends to over 4,000 townships with information being refreshed every three years, on average. The British Columbia coverage map spans over 100,000 km2 and includes all major exploration areas. Saskatchewan coverage includes over 34,000 km.2 This mosaic of ortho-rectified images removes the overhead work related to sourcing, compiling and disseminating surface imagery.
